DHS announced that DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson is extending the designation of Sudan for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 18 months, from May 3, 2016, through November 2, 2017. The 60-day re-registration period for Sudan runs from January 25, 2016, through March 25, 2016. DHS also announced the redesignation and extension of TPS for South Sudan for 18 months, from May 3, 2016, through November 2, 2017.
